This is exactly what’s wrong with news media, especially Fox News, today. It’s no longer about unbiased delivery of the information. Instead, it’s about toeing the line: how much can you say before you get in trouble. Carlson’s comment is so out there and unwarranted, I would be surprised if there aren’t repercussions. This is a man who has vocally supported Sarah Palin, whose show depicts her killing hunting moose. Is that not at all “heartless”?
